I'm very happy to give you this sence of peace and quiet, 'cuz it's exactly what I felt in that right moment.

One of my very best vacations was in Tuscany/Umbria. This brings back fond memories. Your capture is outstanding. The lighting and the layers make it very appealing!

Thanks marc. I'm lucky to live in this magical places. I hope you'll come soon in my homeland.

Is the "smoothness", or painting-like aspect of the photo due to technique, or Photoshop?

Location
I took this photo in Val d'Orcia in TuscanyTime
I woke up in the middle of the night just to be there near 5:00 o'clock to catch the perfect early lightLighting
There was a beautiful light coming from the fields near this farmhouse. It was a warm morning in the summer of 2015. I love this place because often you can find a misty atmosphere near the ground.Equipment
I used a Canon 6D, with a Canon 24-105 f4 L IS on a Manfrotto TripodInspiration
I always thought that this photo looks like a Leonardo's painting. A classical tuscan landscape.Editing
I always shot in raw file, then I open my captures using Lightroom catalog. In the last part of my work-flow i prefer to use Photoshop to finish the details. In my camera bag
A full frame digital camera, an ultra wide-angle (14" or 21"), a zoom like 24-70, and a zoom like 70-200 to reach far subjects.Feedback
I went in this place four times trying to catch the right moment. Planning the shot is the most important part for landscape photography.
