Shot in Iceland, near where I grew up. Bright summer night, horses run free, it's freedom.Time
It was late in the evening, the midnight sun shining from the north.Lighting
Summer evening in Iceland, that is the lightingEquipment
Nikon D5300 and Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II lensInspiration
What inspired me to take this photo is to witness the freedom of the life in the rural areas of Iceland. I think we are not meant to sit in front of computers all day, or stay inside houses all days or life in dense populations of people. Why is it that most of us like vacations or being outside in the nature? Could it be that it is more normal for us and more healthy in every way to live in the country, where you can walk freely without being controlled where to go?Editing
Yes, but I don't remember what I did, must have sharpened it, little bit of clarity, less exposure from the top but overall little post processing. In my camera bag
My worn-out bag includes Nikon D5300, two extra batteries, Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC lens, AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II lens, AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor ED 55-200mm F4-5.6G lens, remote shutter, lens cleaning cloths and chocolate. Chocolate is the most essential thing to carry when driving the center highland of Iceland. Of course food, water and other survival essentials are needed, but standing in a great landscape, waiting for the right lighting calls for good Icelandic chocolate.Feedback
Spend less time on social media and go outside with your camera every time you can :)
