Location
This photo is taken in front of my home in Laugar, North Iceland. It's a quiet and peaceful village located in a green and beautiful valley. The so called "ring road" goes through the village, and this place really connects all of the North.Time
The time was 01:23 AM the 20th of June, 2018Lighting
When the clouds are like this, I usually go outside with me camera and tripod :)Equipment
Camera: Nikon D5300, Lens: AF-P Nikkor 10-20mm 1:4.5-5.6 G, Manfrotto Tripod and remote shutter.Inspiration
What always inspires me to take photos, is the country I live in, Iceland.Editing
I did some post processing. It's shot in raw, like all my photos. So in post-processing, I lifted the shadows of the trees and buildings, and did some dehaze and clarity to the sky and the water. In my camera bag
My worn-out bag includes Nikon D5300, two extra batteries, Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC lens, Nikkor 10-20mm 1:4.5-5.6G lens, AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II lens, AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor ED 55-200mm F4-5.6G lens, remote shutter, lens cleaning cloths and chocolate. Chocolate is the most essential thing to carry when driving the center highland of Iceland. Of course food, water and other survival essentials are needed, but standing in a great landscape, waiting for the right lighting calls for good Icelandic chocolate.Feedback
