Beautiful. Fabulous capture.

Behind The Lens

Location
This photo along with many others I took at the shoreline of a peaceful remote lake in the heath nearby my farm in North Iceland, in the Lake Mývatn area. The Mountain is Sellandafjall, and far away, on the left you can see Mt. Herðubreið, the queen of the Icelandic mountains.
Time
24. september 2015, 18:26, hungry but thrilled.
Lighting
It was one of those moments, those calm evening in the heath, untouched land with no people around.
Equipment
Nikon D5300, 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II lens, Manfrotto tripod and a remote :)
Inspiration
What inspired me was like always, the landscape at my home. This is one of my favorite mountains, I grew up seeing it every day from the farm.
Editing
I've done some post-processing although I don't remember it, must have done noise reduction, clarity, and somethings else :) Here is a video I recorded minutes later https://youtu.be/nY7rR-Shxko
In my camera bag
My worn-out bag includes Nikon D5300, two extra batteries, Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC lens, AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II lens, AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor ED 55-200mm F4-5.6G lens, remote shutter, lens cleaning cloths and chocolate. Chocolate is the most essential thing to carry when driving the center highland of Iceland. Of course food, water and other survival essentials are needed, but standing in a great landscape, waiting for the right lighting calls for good Icelandic chocolate.
Feedback
I would recommend that you contact me personally for instructions. This is a private land where I was.
