Pillars near the granaries and fountain remains at Coria, modern day Corbridge in Northumberland England. The only legionary base near Hadrian's Wall (the forts were manned by Auxiliaries), Coria grew into a large town by local Roman standards. In the distance you can see part of the Stanegate road that ran behind the wall and was probably the axis of the earlier frontier.
