I have several macros of crystals. We make them in our kitchen. Bismuth is the heaviest stable element before things go radioactive. It starts as a dull plain silver chunk of solid metal and then when you melt it, it begins a transformation process and an oxide layer causes it to turn every color of the rainbow. This particular one is my favorite capture of golds, pinks and texture.
