Sunset at Mount Cheaha Alabama. It is the tallest mountain in Alabama; a state known for its flat farmlands and cotton fields. I went there to photograph the night sky. We camped there in 27° weather and it was too windy to take a long exposure. The wind kept knocking my camera down. So, right before night fell, I spotted these trees holding the sun and that was the photo I knew I was meant to capture that night.
