This blue and gold macaw seemed very shy early in the day while I was visiting the Oakland Zoo. Possibly the crowds were too much for him. Close to closing, when nobody else was around, he turned out to be quite friendly, and also a bit of a ham. I'm pretty sure he was posing for me for a while.
