Taken on a local visit to historic Columbia, CA as part of the 2016 Scott Kelby World Wide PhotoWalk. Columbia is a historic gold rush town in the foothills of California, that became a state park to help preserve the history of the area.
This is Mike the blacksmith, who has been in the shop for 16 years so far. He is quite amazing guy to talk with. His knowledge of the area, it's history, insights.. just amazing. He is also a former photographer who now is basically a model for photographers from around the world when they visit Columbia.
In his own way, he is traveling the globe by being in hundreds, if not thousands of photos taken by park visitors from around the world.
