Location
This photo was taken on two days photoshoot in Valtice near Brno - Czech Republic. She was the last model the last day and I just had to shoot those freckles and bits of light coming through the hat on her face.Time
It was about two hours to sunset. It was already time to go home, because we had a two-hour journey ahead.Lighting
I just used natural light. No reflective plate or flash. Sun wasn't too strong, so it wasn't problem to capture this shot.Equipment
I used my Canon EOS 5D Mark II with 85mm f/1.8 lens.Inspiration
It is just a random portrait from big shoot. I liked the combination of light coming through the hat and freckles.Editing
I did frenquency separation retouching, dodge and burn technique, coloring and sharpening. In the end I added some noise.In my camera bag
Usually I have in my bag my Canon 5D Mark II and 3 lenses - Canon 50mm f/1.8, Canon 85mm f/1.8 and Sigma 24mm f/1.4 ART. And some other accessories like flash light Canon 430EX, flash ring, filters and bag of gummy bears.Feedback
It's not really big deal to capture similar photo. Just find an interesting place and pick a beautiful model. Then you just need to feel it - right moment, right angle, right expression.
