This is the view of the ocean at Ponce Inlet from one of the many walkway beach approaches. The palmettos crowd the sides of the walkway, giving a wildness to the place, and reminding us that we are intruding upon nature's hold on the coast! The walkways that dot the shore in Ponce Inlet are a good thing, though, as they protect the dunes and their wildlife from us and we from them!
