The title says it all! This thing was a beast, and it completely mesmerized me as it roared past me while I photographed it from the balcony where I was staying. Looking like fringe dangling under a layer cake, this cloud was so dense that the lightning could only be seen glowing beneath it, not through it! I'd never seen anything like it in all my years living in Florida, probably because I live on the mainland, and had never had the opportunity to look out at one over the ocean before. If you look at the shot I took before the storm hit, you will see just how dark it made that ocean look! It was definitely impressive, and just a little scary!
