My husband and I were out in a park taking a walk. I'm always on the watch out for something cool to get a picture of. If I don't have my camera with me I try to get the best shot I can with camera on my phone. I hate to miss a chance to take great picture regardless of the type of camera I have.Time
It was a summer afternoon. My husband and I love being outdoors and there is always lots of really neat places to visit in Iowa if you love being outdoors. Iowa is at its most beautiful in spring and fall and I got this shot in late springtime.Lighting

Okay, I'm a very armature photographer, I can admit that, I just love taking any kind of pictures! I actually used the camera on my phone to get this picture believe it or not. I forgot my camera at home, I came across this ladybug, I didn't want to miss her.Inspiration
I was just trying to take in all of my surroundings. I thought the tree the lady bug was on was beautiful and then I saw her and I was like Squeee I have to get a picture of her!!!Editing
This photo started out in color. I really wanted to lady bug to stand out so I took the color out of the rest of the picture and just left her as the one spot of vibrant color in it.In my camera bag
Don't laugh, my husband is a full time student so we don't have a lot of money to afford expensive camera equipment. So I always try to have my digital camera and my phone on me. One day I'd like to afford a big expensive camera and all of those gorgeous lenses but for now I work with what I've got.Feedback
Just always keep your eyes open. You never know what you'll see. Also you can get amazing pictures without having to use expensive camera equipment. Just have fun and take pictures for you, stuff you love and want to see.
