Piglet is our ten year old rescue chihuahua. Saved her from the pound about 6 weeks ago - she'd been dumped on a logging road in the middle of nowhere with two other small dogs. Teenagers out partying found them, but could only catch two. I found this dog in the shelter, quiet and calm as could be, and I knew she had to come home. She's a GEM of a dog, quiet, well-behaved, loves the cats, loves the dogs, fears the chickens. We didn't *need* another dog, but she needed us. She's still learning to trust, and was deeply skeptical of being in the tall grass by herself for a photo. I still love the image, even if she looks concerned. It's the scale of the photo - the tiny dog in the big wide world.
