Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my backyard on my deck. I put the leaf on my deck to get the background texture and worked with the natural light.

Time

It was early afternoon when I took this photo still cold with a little bit of sun shinning through.

Lighting

I used natural lighting, I mainly always go for natural lighting and adjust the angle at which the light is hitting the object, in the case the leaf to get the best results.

Equipment

I used my iPhone to take this photo and played around with different angles.

Inspiration

I walked outside and saw how pretty the frost looked and looked for things to take pictures of and that’s when I saw the frost on the leaf.

Editing

I didn’t edit the photo much other than turning it to black and white after I took the shot.

In my camera bag

I normally just have my camera (Canon Rebel) and or my phone with me as I like to take photo when something catches my eye or in the moment, with that said I try to keep my equipment basic but also looking into getting some new lense soon.

Feedback

Some advice I would give is if your taking a black and white photo, take it in color first then switch it to black and white. As for the subject look for different angles and play around with your camera settings iOS and f-stop.
