It was built at mountain passes, mountain ridges and in locations were goods and transportation were done. .The wall was an affective deterrence . Photographed is the brick portion of the wall .Observe the steep stairs and one of the watch-beacon towers. These watch-beacon towers were used for defense and communication by signal fires.
