This was taken in my dad's garden, he always had a nice selection of iris.Time
I have never been a morning person, so probably during the 7am area.Lighting

I have always had a love-hate relationship with photographing iris. I was determined to finally get a handle on how to take a different approach to a bearded iris.Editing
Between scanning and prepping the image, I tend to keep it simple with a bit of contrast and saturation adjustments.In my camera bag
Lately it's a Nikon dslr with a 17-35, a 50, and a 35-135 with macro. Also a small first aid kit.Feedback
I take great inspiration from monet's cathedral study. When struggling with a subject, try different lighting, eventually you'll get it right.
