Lompoc is a small sleepy town just outside of Vandenberg AFB in CA, but it comes alive in Flower growing season when the fields are ablaze with flowers. Slide scanned with Epson Perfection V700 and Silver Fast Archive Suite with follow up post processing in Capture NX2.3. Shot with Nikon FTN on Ektachrome, no other data recorded. EDIT 5-6-14. Tiff image reprocessed in PS CS6 Extended using Picture Postcard Workflow. EDIT 7-1-14- After a discussion with Dan Margulis, the creator of PPW, in which he convinced me I went overboard on my processing. I went back to the original SilverFast scan and redid the process in a more muted version.7-8-14- Well it turned out the file was not processed properly so I started again and now I have a version I think passes the test.
