This is the mystic Delphi. From this very spot the Oracle
would sit over the pits from which they believe Sulphur fumes would be admitted and would babble in tongues to travelers questions. These answers would be interpreted by priests. As isolated and peaceful as this place is there was an amazing amount of people who came to consult the Oracle.
