I had seen this building from street view many times during my vacation in New Orleans.
I asked the the concierge in the hotel about the history of this fabulous landmark. I was told that the Hibernia Bank Tower built in 1921 at 23 stories was the tallest building in Louisiana until the State Capitol topped it 1932.
I was then kindly informed I could take the elevator to the seventh floor balcony for a better view.
To the seventh floor I went. Always ask questions if you are curious, that's just me.
