I shot this image in the North Dakota Badlands, Theodore Roosevelt National Park. I couldn't ask for a better morning. I was eating a granola bar for breakfast in my truck watching this heard of Bison. I could see the clouds starting to form and knew if the Bison came this way and the clouds held up I would have a nice image. I got out and put a wide angle lens on and stepped out into the prairie a bit. As the Bison walked by they didn't really pay me an attention. I shot numerous frames of this and really settled on this composition.
