I was sitting on a boulder watching these deer feeding in the snow on this ridge. I was very cold gloomy day. I hadn't taken a picture all day. I had this image in my mind as I watched these deer. One of the does that was lying on the ground got up and made her way to the fence. I couldn't believe that it was going to do what I had envisioned. I was ready. Shot this with a 300mm hand held.
