Shooting the Northern Lights one night I saw this. It was like two different worlds. I set up and shot several exposures and felt something was missing. Then during the next 10 second exposure I turned my headlights on and off real quick and got the image I was looking for.

Joe, I love your wildlife photography, but because I'm a Landscape artist, this photo I consider your best (Genius shot) work of art. The inspiration of flooding the blacktop with light for a brief second adds that little extra light showing the roadway. Love Orion showing in the lower right part of the sky. Truly a masterpiece. This should be entered into the Nat Geo contests.
