Beautiful capture, Natasha!… I love the soft tones and subtle coloring. Magnificent work!

Location
This photo was taken along the Great Ocean Road coastline of Victoria, Australia. It is a view of the famous Twelve Apostles.Time
This photo was taken at sunrise.Lighting
What was great about this photo was the amazing front of cloud that was rolling in at the time and the way the sun rise reflected of it and the ocean below.Equipment
To smooth out the waves from the ocean I used a super stopper filter and of course a tripod.Inspiration
I am proud to call Australia my home but it is such a vast land it is actually quite hard to travel around and see all the amazing landscapes. Around 2012 I started to travel in earnest at least once a year on photography shoots to improve my skills and see the sites at the same time.Editing
I used Lightroom to darken the sky and lighten the foreground. I also cropped as I like the panorama feelIn my camera bag
Sony A7R. 16-35mm F4 is my favourite lens. I also have a 24mm F1.4 prime for astrophotography. I have a 70-200mm and an old 200-400mm Tamron from the days when I had manual Minolta SLRs. Still works a treat. I also can't live with out my Really Right Stuff Tripod and ball head. I also have lots of filters and those little shower caps you get from hotel rooms. They make great rain covers!Feedback
Getting up early to get ready for the shot is really important. Sometimes you might have to go back to the same place again and again to get the nice sunrise/sunset as the clouds are what makes this shot in particular.
