This is my photo of a painting by the artist Cantrell. This wonderful painting is on display at the Deming Luna County Mimbres Museum (New Mexico). This painting holds my attention and imagination in complete freeze frame as the beauty of the scene soaks into my soul.

The title I gave my photo “Just a closer walk with Thee” is from a song with this refrain:

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it, Jesus, is my plea,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.
