This is on Rt66 I believe it is Peach Springs AZ. This is along the best stretch or Rt66. It runs far away from the expressway and you still get the feel of the old road. If heading West get off in Seligman, AZ and drive to Kingman, AZ. There is plenty of stuff to shoot! A good overnight stop is Laughlin NV, cheep roomsTime
We were driving along the road and I just happened to stop. I believe it was around Noon so not the best lightLighting
Nothing special about the light. It was in December.Equipment

I've been by this spot before so I wanted to get another chance to shoot the car. The time before I had shot it strait on, and I didn't really like the outcome. This time I walked around and got a better shot.Editing
I shot 5 shots for HDR. I used Photomatrix and Topaz Labs. This was one from my early years, so not much messing around. I also did it in a black and white that looks coolIn my camera bag
I just got a a7iii and I have a a7rii and a77ii. I'm working on more full frame lenses, but have several for my a77iiFeedback
Take your time. This was the second time I had stopped and shot this car. The first time I wan't very happy with the results, but this time I walked around and like how I framed the shot. If I had spent more time the first time..... This was also a trip I made with my dad. He was a car nut also and loved to drive out West. I had taken him on several trips and he would always remember them and talk about them. He passed away 3 years ago. If you don't take the time to spend with your parents you will never get it back. I was glad we were able to take this trip.
