Hi Simon, To be totaly honest, I have no idea. My son and I noticed him on the branch and we grabbed my old camera, Sony DCR-SR47, from the table by the door and ran out. The hawk is still very young and I think this may have been his first or second time out of the nest. He still has a lot of down feathers, but you can't really see them in these photos very well. We stood directly under the branch he was sitting on and he never moved. I think we were very lucky to get these shots at all. Thank you so much for asking and leaing an award. It is so very much appreciated. One other thing...this photo has not been edited in any way. This is exactly how it turned out. He is so beautiful, I just had to share it. Thanks, Marnie

Hello Marnie if I were to judge the focal length, would guesstimate your lens is a 200mm, Sony makes wonderful point and shoots, it must not have a removeable lens, but some can get shots up to 1000mm as the samsung does--Great capture here, yes, he is a Juvenile, looks like a Coopers Hawk (Good work congratulation)
