Location
This photo was taken on our way back from Klamath Falls, Oregon. It had started snowing as we were heading to Klamath Falls to pick up my daughter. On our way back the roads were covered in soft white snow. I had to pull over. I just couldn't pass up this opportunity to have some fun.Time
This image was taken in the morning around 8 am.Lighting
The lighting was 100% natural morning light. It was cloudy and snowing.Equipment
I used my Canon t3i camera, with a Canon 18-55mm lens and a CPL filter.Inspiration
The view was just amazing. I haven't been in snow like that in years. It was so soft, everything looked so beautiful cover in snow. I had to just pull over, get some great pictures and then I started thowing tons of soft powdery snow at my daughter who has never been in the snow.Editing
I used Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to do some light editing. I bumped up the contrast a little bit to show off the view.In my camera bag
My bag consists of my Canon t3i. 3 lenses. A Canon 50mm 1.8f, Canon 18-55mm and a 75-300mm lens. There is a flash with a diffuser and a softbox cover. A few different lens filters. My favorite is the CPL filter. I have 2 back up batteries and a few SD cards, just in case. Oh and I can't forget my little cleaning bag. I don't need dust messing up my pictures.Feedback
Always keep ypur camera close by. You never know when you might need to pull over to get that amazing shot. I always shoot in RAW. This way post editing is much easier. And no matter how good the original shot is run it through Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to do some minor editing. You would be surprised how much more your photos will POP.
