Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the 10th of March 2012 at the cemetery in Onrus, Western Cape, South Africa

Time

I took the photo at 6h56 pm just as the sun was about to set.

Lighting

The original photo did not show the evening colours so good.

Equipment

I used a SONY DSC H70 hand held on aoto fuction which gave me settings of f/4.5, 1/80 sec and an ISO of 80.

Inspiration

The giant trees in the evening sun just attracted me so much that I had to take the shot.

Editing

Unfortunately at the time I had bought the camera some 6 months earlier and did not think of recording at steps I took the adjust the colours using a free editing program which I cannot remember.

In my camera bag

Early in 2015 I bought a two lens Canon 1200D kit and a f1.8 50mm lens. This I followed up with a manfrotto tripod and Canon 100mm macro lens

Feedback

I am still learning and can only advice the following: Learn everything you can about photography, your camera, the subject you intent to photograph and yourself.................and practice, practice, practice
