I took this when my son turned 2. I love the look he gave me when I told him to smash his cake.

Shot with a Canon 5D II and 50L lens at f-11.

1-160s shutter speed
2 flash setup. One in a 22" beauty dish, camera left (and in front), set to 1-2 power.

Second flash on a boom behind my son, set to 1-16th power, flagged with a bounce card for a flag.
