about 3 years ago...I went to India ....a city where I grew up in Gujarat State..called Navsari...to spend some time with my sick brother because he only had few months to live ....i will mention why I tool this picture down below.... This picture was taken in Navsari, India.Time
It was a sunny afternoon around 1 P.M.Lighting
I choose shaded area to avoid direct Sunlight....Equipment
I used my Samsung Galaxy S4 Cellular phone to take this picture....Inspiration
I went to India to spend some time with my ill brother ..near there...there is an alley where these two sister's parents had a sewing equipment in a shop about 10 ft by 10 ft...very small...I was watching older sister taking care of her younger sister everyday after her school...and I was so impressed by her ..they both were also very attached to my brother and his wife ...they would come sit with my brother spend time feeding dogs biscuit and give him some company... they both got attached to my son there and always ask me if they don't see my son.."where is Veer bhai ?? they meant where is our brother ?? I was so impressed by the Love this girl was giving to my son and her sister.... When I looked into their eyes it reminded me ...of a photograph of an Afghan Girl taken by an American Photographer and was on cover page of...I believe TIME magazine ....I wanted to take this expressions with me to USA....when i was talking to them one day and I asked to take a picture and she said yes and she was so happy with a great smile...i asked her to have her little sister sit on a little moped and hold her ...u can see both sister holding bar behind the seat.... before leaving I bought her a nice back pack for school ...and also ordered 8x10 picture frame of above picture for their memory.... they all were so happy ...two sisters and their parents......NIce Experince for me....will never forget her expressions....Editing
i might have done some cropping ...don't remember.. done soft focus and Vignette on PICASA ..because i wanted to have a portrait look .....I love PICASA...simple and user friendly.....In my camera bag

look around people and their behaviour ...specially when you travel to countries like INDIA ..You can find people on street with expressions you would like to capture ..candidly works great ....i also have captured some good street dogs and puppies on village roads on my page ....will post more soon ..... thanks for letting me having chance to join your blog Sincerely, Thakor Patel
