Location
Beautiful Kananaskis, Alberta, CanadaTime
It was during the summer super moon around midnight.Lighting
It was pitch black midnight in the middle of the mountains, no lights anywhere. Suddenly the moon rose over the mountain and it was so bright it seemed like mid day.Equipment
Canon T5 with a Canon prime 400mm lens on a a tripod.Inspiration
The beauty of the moon rising over the mountains.Editing
No - this photo was au-natural..In my camera bag
My Canon T5, an extra T3 body, a 55-250 zoom, 400 mm prime, 100 mm macro, sometimes a wide angle and a 5mm prime. For me it's all about the lenses. I don't carry them all every time it depends on what I am shooting.Feedback
Getting away from the city lights makes a huge difference when attempting to capture nighttime nature shots.
