This is a top class shot as far as I'm concerned! It's perfectly edited. You have beautiful tones, light and shade. Crisp, sharp lines. Nice reflection on the decking. The overall effect is soft and surreal. Beautiful!

Seems simplistic yet amazing and surreal, I really love this. Mind sharing how this was made?

Location
I took this photo in my homeland Cyprus. Specifically, in Protaras region, Cyprus.Time
I remember it was very early in the morning. I remember driving my car for 1 and 1/2 hour in order to reach this jetty. Cause i live in Nicosia. So i starter driving my car at 3:30 in the morning. At 5:00 i was there. I had already in mind the composition of this photo. All i needed was that light...Lighting
The light was something out of this world. I was waiting from 5:00 in the morning there. I remember the first sun rays that were spreading all over the jetty and came towards me. I remember the humidity on the jetty's deck. I remember how peaceful i felt inside when i witnessed the change from the dark of the night to the light of the day. So beautiful, quite, peaceful.Equipment
This was one of my first photos but i remember using my old Canon 5D Mark II with the Canon 17-40 f/4 lens on my tripod. I also remember using a 10 stop ND filter for this photo and a remote shutter release button.Inspiration
As an amateur, at that period of time, i was looking for a subject that will give some extra points in the whole composition. The jetty in combination with the light inspired me to take this photo.Editing
Yes. I did some post processing. I used Photoshop and Topaz in order to give this photo a magical tone.In my camera bag
Nowadays i use mainly my Canon 5DsR, Zeiss lenses, Gitzo tripod and a lot of filters from companies such as Lee and NiSi.Feedback
When you go out to photograph, try to capture what you felt at that moment and not what you see with your naked eyes. Try to capture the feeling and not a picture. Only then your photo, a piece of paper will come to life. Only then your photo will be a part in your life, a moment in time that was so precious for you. And your photo will exist in order to remind you what you felt that day. Art is about expressing feelings through your creation. Don't forget that.
