I intentionally overexposed the background to get it white for hi key effect than use single flash gun to iluminate my subject on very little powerEquipment
I used my canon 7d with i believe it was sigma 50mm f1.4 lens no tripod needed for this shot, used one flash gun (nissin)Inspiration
My little daughter Maya was playing by the window and she looked adorable I just had to take fiew shotsEditing
I used lightroom to do my raw conversion bring down highlights and bring up my whites quite a bit to get background white sharpen eyes a little and smoothed skin a little not too much as little kids have great skin :)In my camera bag
At the moment I use canon 7d with canon 50mm f1.8 , canon 17-85mm f4 5 6 is usm and sigma 10-20mm f4 5.6Feedback
Make sure to put your subject by the window so the sun is behind the subject set the camera to overexpose background as much as you can without over exposing subject than use any light to iluminate him or her
