Location
Forest in Poland during autumn seazon.Time
It was getting late toward sunset time you can see golden light on the trees.Lighting
The light was golden in color (time of day) and very directional(low on horizon) this gave me highlights and shadows I'm always looking for.Equipment
Simple set up here just my canon 7D and sigma 10 - 20 mm at 10mm no filters, tripods or anything else.Inspiration
I have seen similar images online wanted to try for myself I knew 10mm lens is perfect for this thanks to wide angle distortion trees looks like they gigantic which give this image more dynamic character.Editing
I did raw conversion in lightroom sorted out highlights as the sky was very bright compared to rest of the image and than give image some color boost and sharpen at the end.In my camera bag
Depends what I'm shooting. I like to travel light so majority of my shoots are taken handheld using one lens usually sigma 10 20mm. If I know ill be shooting low light scenes I would take tripod cable release, I usually carry 2 to 4 lenses including sigma 105 macro canon 50mm sigma 70 200mm and sigma 10 20mm and of course spare batteries.Feedback
Get low very low lay on the ground if you have to, wait for perfect light and use widest lens you have available. Good luck and happy shooting.
