Location
I took this shoot in little English village called Stevington, the windmill presented on the photo is one of the oldest in the UK and because this place is within the driving distance from where I live I go there often.Time
Working night shift allows me to be on the location before sunrise and this photo is not exception you can see sun just start to rise and I was fortunate enough to get all this amazing clouds as well.Lighting
The light was simply unbelievable I was standing there wondering is it real what I'm seeing like I said before sun was just starting to rise lighting up all this clouds and the colours of the clouds is what makes this picture.Equipment
As always I used my canon 7d with sigma 10 - 20 mm lens on did not use any filters and I was on the manfrotto heavy duty tripod.Inspiration
I would call myself nature and landscape photographer so any time I see a chance for great sky with lots of colorful clouds I'm ready to shoot and was really low withy camera angle up so I could get as much sky in the single frame as I could.Editing
If I remember it right I took two exposures both in row one for the sky one for the foreground after row conversion I simply blend the two exposures together using photoshop. In my camera bag
Canon 7d, canon 50mm f1.8, canon 17 - 85mm f4 5.6 and sigma 10 - 20 mm f4 5.6 10s top neutral density filter and a polarizer, spare battery and spare memory card, cable release and I always carry my mobile with lots of apps for photographers.Feedback
First of all don't look at other people with fancy expensive equipment I have learned over the time that it really doesn't matter what camera you have it is the photographer who takes pictures and the camera is only a tool to do so. Get out there with whatever you have and just have fun.
