I myst learn to use a tripod, just got a Tamron 600mm for Nikon today, so have to get one , with RA cannot hold a cup let alone a 7 pound lens, and astrophotography. I must read on how to take images like this seeing the city lights, sunset or sunrise is wonderful work thank you beyond the prism

Thanks again buckskins. I can understand how RA makes it difficult to handle your gear. I personally have a small tremble, which causes me to have to increase my shutter speed to compensate. Often my tripod becomes my best accessory to get though sharp images. I'd love to complement my lens collection with a 600mm (as well as a 2x converter for a nice boost). This one in particular was taken with a wide angle lens and was composed with 5 images taken at 10 seconds each. If you use a mac, I would suggest looking into using the Starry Landscape Stacker software to merge the pictures and get similar results. Cheers -JP
