Hedgehogs are very interesting looking animals. Don't they have quills like a porcupine?

I actually took this photo in a cemetary. I was just wandering around with my fiancée looking for cool things to shoot.Time
This was taken at exacly 19:58 the 25 of June 2014 a very beautiful evening.Lighting
This is all natural lighning some hours before sunset hence the not so "strong" middday light.Equipment
This was shot with my first camera a Canon EOS 70D with the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art if I remember correct which gave me an equivalent of 56mm on the 70D. Laying on my stomach.Inspiration
This was not a planned shot and I only took two photos because I don't like to disturb animals and the first shot was out of focus but fortunently this turned out fine. To answer the question. Nature is my inspiration, the beauty and sheer scale of awesome motives to photograph is just mind blowing.I think that after this shoot I started to shoot much more animals especially birds.Editing
I was still very new to all this editing stuff. Only owning lightroom and shooting in raw I think I only added a little contrast and brightness. My moto when I started was of course to try and nail everything in-camera which is hard when you don't have any knowledge of exposure. Today I still edit as alittle as possible but bck then I didin't even know hos to sharpen an image or even remove grain. In my camera bag
Back in the day I only had the 70D, Sigma 35 f/1.4 Art and Canon EF 100-400 Mark I. After about 1½ years I upgraded to the 7D Mark II and Canon EF 100-400 mark II. And just recently I have sold all my canon gear and bought a Sony A7II which I intend to use with vintage lenses mostly canon fd lenses. So I'm still learning about photography and still searching for what kind of photography I enjoy the most. As we speak I have my Sony A7II, Canon FD 100mm f/2.8, Canon FD 50mm f/1.8, Some minolta lenses, and two Sony FE lenses the well recieved 55mm f/1.8 and the kit zoom lens 28-70 and a manfrotto tripod.Feedback
Since I'm still very uneducated in the arts of photography I don't have any special advice except that I'm a sucker for short focus span and bokeh. get a lens with big aparture and get close to your subject and don't forget rule of third which I really enjoy using to really get subject to draw attention.
