I took this photo in my roof garden which I built up to grow flowers to take photos of them i am also a keen gardener.Time
Probably I took this around midday.Lighting
As far as I can remember it was taken on a sunny day.Equipment
I used My D7200 Nikon with a Sigma 105mm 1:2.8 macro lens.Inspiration
It was summer as far as I remember and a nice day. Hosta is one of my favourite flowers and I like the way the stamens are coloured and I'm always trying to get that perfect shot with this flower. Its the way the flower sits...its arty...Editing
Its a long time since this photo was taken and its hard to remember but usually I open it in lightroom to enhance light or colour. In my camera bag
For this type of photo I usually only have the Sigma 105mm 1:2.8 macro lens as the roof garden is just beside me.Feedback
Well I look for the art in a photo first, colours, the way the object sits etc and try to take the photo for the "arty" as I have said.
