Sebastian, to get good boekh- you need a longish lens, and shallow depth of field like F/4 F/2 or less- and look for light and dark behind your subject- lights- especially Christmas light, when shot out of focus, create very nice bokeh effects- some lenses are better than others for their bokeh abilities-
