Behind The Lens

Location

The ESURE Building, Glasgow, viewed from Wellington Street.

Time

Mid-Morning

Lighting

I particularly liked the cloud background which gave added drama to the scene.

Equipment

Handheld shot with a Canon EOS 450D plus a Canon 17-85mm zoom at 38mm focal length.

Inspiration

I liked the stark modernistic shape of the building.

Editing

HDR processed with Photomatix Pro from a set of three images @±2EV; further post-processing in Adobe Photoshop 7.0

In my camera bag

These days, I carry a Canon EOS 5D Mk III body and a Canon EOS 7D body plus Canon 17-40mm zoom, a Canon 24-105mm zoom and a Canon 100-400mm zoom; I also have a selection of HiTech graduated ND filters.
