Grand Jury Winner

"A brilliant interpretation of an already heavily photographed location. The image feels decluttered by the use of selective desaturation to remote many distractions in this busy scene. The timing of this long exposure is perfect, with the unmistakable blurred NYC taxi taking centre stage in the frame." - Peter Stewart

Congratulations Runner Up "Daydreaming" by beyond_the_prism

"Fantastic use of tonemapping to accentuate the details in the building facades against a fitting dramatic sunset. A great image showcasing a vantage point not commonly seen of New York." - Peter Stewart

Runner Up

"A wonderfully vibrant two-toned travel image that perfectly encapsulates Venice. The framing with the statue on the left fits well as your eyes naturally follow her gaze up the canal." - Peter Stewart

Finalist

"So much to see in this busy scene. I love the angle used here to capture both the Opera House and Harbour Bridge in one frame. The boats on the water with spectators enjoying the fireworks add a nice touch." - Peter Stewart
