Spring is turning out to be one of my favorite times of the year here in the Pacific Northwest. There is an abundance of wildflowers and colors that fill the landscapes here.

Let me paint this scene for you. Rain sputters off and on in the pre-dawn moments of a sleepy and crisp Sunday morning. Birds are chirping in the distance and bees are beginning their daily chores of collecting pollen on the ubiquitous flowers before you. The air is still but filled with floral and mountain scents that suspend the moment just a bit longer. You are taking in the rolling clouds above Mount Hood and enjoying the cushioned comfort of the soft, wet ground at your feet. The purple lupine flowers dance in the light breeze and you get lost in the wonder and beauty of nature's lull.
