Behind The Lens

Location

Photo was taken in Cieszyn, Poland. On the railway bridge between Czech Republic and Poland.

Time

I walked in the evening, with my camera in one hand and beer in another. Clear sky and water roars under the bridge. The snow already melted away and it was time to begin the chill-out trips through earlier unexplored regions of nearby towns.

Lighting

The sun was ready to go to sleep. And the moon was not ready to get op.

Equipment

My trusty Nikon d90 with Nikon's Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 standard lens. (not AF). I like those lens.

Inspiration

I looked at the bridge and saw drama in those watchtowers. Also i saw cool symmetry. I like symmetry.

Editing

I merged 3 files into HDR and modified colour spectrum. When i was doing that i saw cool postapocaliptic yellow on sides and monochromatic look. I liked it.

In my camera bag

Nikon d90, Nikor 50mm, SB-26 speedlight, Nikkor 75-300 1:45-5.6 I do like old lens. In My opinion they have prettier light.

Feedback

Symmetry and Drama are key words. Pictures are all about a story. When you see something interesting just take a minute to think about the story, take a picture and give it some focus in post-processing through colour manipulation. But I'm just one of many amateur photographers. I most certainly am not a person who can give good and valid advice about photography.
