I took this photography last year on Christmas. Living up to the Aussie tradition of going to the beach on Christmas, I took my camera along with me as well. It's actually summer in Australia during December, but Melbourne can be a bit unpredictable, as you can see it was a cold and cloudy day but still the pictures turned out beautiful :)

Nice 'sheening' of the water. I guess you went f22 to get the long exposure? But you still have fading focus. I find picture quality degrades over around f14 - with my lenses anyway. Maybe drop the ISO instead.

You are absolutely right Rob. I knew I had made that mistake as soon as I saw it on my computer. Unfortunately my old Pentax Kx doesnt go below 200 ISO. I'd love to go back and do this shot again with a bigger ND filter.

200 iso - that's a bummer. they say to focus a third of the way into the shot to get overall focus on high f stop. you might have focussed too close. with this shot - don't think it matters. still looks good
