One night I woke up in the middle of the night cause I heard thunder, as I lay there trying to go back to sleep. I noticed another one, followed by another one. Thunder storms are rare where I live but I knew immediately that this was a thunder storm and so jumped out of my bed and grabbed my camera. My poor old Pentax isn't water proof and I didn't know how long the thunder storm was going to last, so I had no way of going somewhere to compose my picture. So I set up my camera on my bedroom window and I captured a few lightening shots and this was the best one I got :)
