The Shenandoah ain't the easiest place to photograph, but you found a fine foreground object to set it off. It's a shame the distant background isn't quite up to the rest of the scenic view. While the sky is fine, might it have been more helpfull to have pointed the camera down and get less of the sky and more of the hillside below? That might have added to the overall color.
