Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my studio during Ambra's first test shoot !

Time

At this time, I was taking on multiple test shoots session for an agency, and those took place mostly in the late afternoon... so you can imagine how tired everybody was !

Lighting

I always love simple lighting, and so for this image I only used one big octa and played with some reflectors.

Equipment

This was shot on my good old 5D Mark II with my 50mm 1.4

Inspiration

When I do test shoot for models I always want them to have a good expression in their portfolio ! For this one particulary I asked th emodel to look behindher as she was being followed... so you can say that "Film noir" was my inspiration.

Editing

I always do post processing ! for this shot, Since I had everything already set in my mind I decided to underexposed it a little bit, and then, it's with the post precessing that I made the light brighter ...

In my camera bag

I always have my 50mm 1.4 in my camera bag, but in my daily bag, I only have my Iphone :)

Feedback

If you like this picture and wonder how you can shot a similar one, the secret is in the expression !
