I like the way you composed this shot...hope to see more of your work soon.

Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken on a small beach near the town of Ouranopolis, Greece. Earlier that day, I came from a photo-trip on Mount Athos. Although it was the second year I came to this place, I didn't saw the triangle shape last year.Time
The photo was taken in the evening, after a rather busy day. I saw this small shape formed by the big rocks and, after a few missed shots, I managed to place the camera in portrait mode on a smaller rock next to it and took this shot.Lighting
I didn't use any artificial light. It's a reason we call this time of day "the golden hour" :) .Equipment
This was shot with a Nikon D3100 with the 18-55 mm f3.5-5.6 kit lens. No other equipment was involved.Inspiration
The composition inspired me to take this shot. I didn't look through the opening before. I just saw it, placed the camera, switched to Live View, and took a couple of pictures (different focal lengths and settings) before I was satisfied with this one.Editing
I don't like to "over-process" my photographs. I just tweak the contrast, luminosity, white balance, clarity and vibrance. In my camera bag
My bag usually contains a Nikon D3100 body with the 18-55 mm f3.5-5.6 kit lens, 55-200 mm f4-5.6 kit lens and a Nikon 50mm f1.8 lens. Also, a Nissin Di600 flash, a Yongnuo circular macro lamp, a Raynox DCR-250, various Cokin filters with adapters (circular polarization, full ND8, gradual ND2, gradual ND4 and gradual ND8), a cable remote, a tripod and lens-cleaning accessories. Sometimes, I also take my GoPro Hero3 White along with a smaller tripod. I also never leave home without a raincoat in my camera backpack.Feedback
Although I am an amateur photographer, the best tips I can give are the following: - Always wait for good lighting. Shoot during the golden hours and, if you can't, always use a filter on your lens ; - Return, from time to time, to the locations where you took photos before, because you never know what details you might have missed ; - Never-ever shoot at eye level. Go down low or up high. Change the perspective of the view, but be careful about the composition of the shot ; - Use what you have and make so that the environment around you "works" in your favor.
