My 3 year old and i came across this Monarch butterfly struggling to fly so we were trying to help it out any way we could especially since the Monarchs are declining in numbers. I decided let my boy carefully hold him... it was so heartwarming to see how much he cared about this beautiful little creature and how gentle he was with it. A kind heart goes a long way in life. Every time i see this photo i will remember that and cherish the memory.
